Nancy was my engagement, and wedding photographer. She was incredible, and extremely professional! She brought to life the vision my husband and I wanted for our pictures, and brought us amazing results. Her creative eye, and attention to detail made our wedding and engagement pictures fun, and beautiful to look back on. My husband and I could not have been happier with our results!

My wife and I are thrilled that we chose Nan to photograph our wedding! The photos are artistic, timeless, and focus on capturing the spirit of the event rather than just getting through a long list of pre-arranged photos. At the same time, she was sure to get all the shots that we identified ahead of time. She is friendly and easy to work with, professional and very experienced. She knows how to get the shots while not being a distraction to the moments as the unfold.

The photos received after the wedding were timely and very high quality; I can’t imagine better. I highly recommend her to document any major life event!

Nan is absolutely amazing. She has photographed many weddings I have attended, and she always blows me away with the way she captures each moment with her artistic eye, making me feel like I am reliving the moments in the pictures! I love her work and I would hire her in a heartbeat!

Most people are excited about the event they are planning, but not thrilled at the prospect of selecting a caterer, photographer, etc. Vendor selection certainly isn’t my favorite part. But I do have some advice for anyone currently going through the process.

First, don’t be lazy. Don’t just ask cousin Myron for his list of vendors unless you truly thought his event was spectacular. You’re spending your hard-earned money—invest a a little bit of time to make sure your money is well spent. Second, use technology to your advantage. In the old days, you had to meet a photographer in person to look at his or hew previous work. Now, you can look at the photos online. So, look. Really look. Don’t just scroll through the photos rapidly—this is the product you’re about to buy. These are the very best examples of this person’s work. The photos should give you a sense of confidence that this is the person you should be hiring.

That’s what sold us on Nancy. We could tell from her previous work that she has that gift that separates true photographers from people who take pictures. We hired her for our son’s Bar Mitzvah and we are very glad we did. The photos we asked her to take came out great. And some of the photos we didn’t ask her to take—some of the photos where she just saw something—came out fabulous. She was reliable and easy to work with, so I feel quite confident recommending her. Just take a look at her work.

Nan is such a talented photographer with a great eye. She uses natural beauty for stunning photos. I also really enjoy working with her - she is a lot of fun! I’ve used her for both maternity and family photos.

Nan Doud does amazing work. She took my son’s high school senior portraits. I love the way she perfectly captured the essence of my son’s personality. The photographs look as if they could be found in a magazine or college brochure. She made my son very comfortable and it showed in the results. Nan is not only very serious about her work, but fun and kind as well. My son really enjoyed the process of picking out his favorite portraits. Nan’s guidance made it easy for us to narrow our choices and find our favorite shots. The finished products are magnificent, family heirlooms that will be treasured for generations.
